1.UNION IS STRENGTH (FOUR BULLS)
once there were four bulls in a forest. They always lived together.a lion lived in the same forest and wanted to kill them but could not succeed. According to his plan he wants to one of them and praised him. He told him that other bulls were jealous to him. Theyou always ate fresh grass and left stale for him. The foolish bull believe in it and the next day he went away to graze alone. The lion killed and ate him up.
He repeated the same trick on other bulls. The other bulls, too, did the same foolish act. In this way, the lion killed all of them one by one.
2. The Wolf and the lamb
Onemail day hungry and thirsty Wolf saw a lamb drinking water in a stream. He wanted to eat the lamb so he want to lamb and said.
"Why are you making water dirty"
The lamb said," sir, the water is running from you to me.how can I make water dirty?
The Wolf invented other protext and asked," why did you abuse me last year? The lamb said,"I am six monoid, sir. How could I abuse you?
Then it most be your parents, " saying this he killed the lamb.
3.the old farmer and his sons
Once there an old farmer had four quarrelling son's. The father often advised them not to quarrel but all in vian. The farmer was very sad.
One day he thought a plan to teach them a lesson. He gave each of them a bundle of sticks and asked them to break it. Each of them tried his best but no one could break it.
Then the farmer untied the bundle. He gave each a stick to break. Now each of them broke the sticks easily. The father taught them to live united like the bundle of stick. They realized their mistake. Now they gave up quarrlling.
4. The han that laid golden egg
Onece there was a farmer. He had a wonderful hen because it laid a golden egg daily. The farmer was very greedy. One day farmer thought of a plan to get all the egg. He wanted to be rice very soon. He thought there must be a lot of eggs in the hen body. He took a knife and killed the hen. He cut the stomach of the hen.
He opened it. He looked for tha eggs in its body, but there werw no egg. The foolish farmer was very sad now. He repented for his folly very much.
5.Two friends and the bear
Once there lived two friends in a village. One day travelled together through a forest. They promised to help each other. They sew a bear coming towards them. They were frightened. One of them climbed up a tree. The other one did not know how to climb a tree. He knew the danger. He thought of a plan. He lay dilown on the ground. He held his breath. The bear smelt him. It took him to be dead and laft him. The first friend came down and asked what the bear had told him. The second friend replied,"the bear advised me not rely on false friends."
6.The here and the lion
A lion used to kill many animals daily. Then an agreement was a made among him and other animals. One animal would go to him daily for his food. One day it was a hare turn. The here went to the lion very late. The lion was very angry. He ask to here why it was so late. The here said that it was detained by another lion. The lion asked the here to show him that lion. The hare took him a well. He jumped into it and was image in the well. He jumped into it and was drowned to death.
7.Robert Bryncethin and the spider
Robert Bruce was the king of Scotland. He fought very hard to Free his country from the English. But he failed many times. He was badly defeated. He ran away into the forest and hide in a cave.
One day he noticed a spider. It was trying to reach the ceiling. It climbed and fell. But the spider did not lose heart. The spider began to climb up again. It went up steadily inch by inch. At last it reached the roof in the seventh attempt.
The king learnt a lesson. He once again raised a strong army. He fought against the English. He won back the liberty of his
Country.
8. The vain stag
One fine morning a stag was drinking water in a poor. By chance he saw his reflection in the water. He felt proud of his beautiful horns. But he was ashamed of his ugly legs. Suddenly a hunter set his hound after the stag. The stag run fast to save his life. But his hurns got stuck in the bush. He tried hard to free himself but in vain.
Now the stag realised that his ugly legs could have saved him but his beautiful horns caused his death. In the meantime, the hounds came there and killed him.
9. River god and the woodcutter
There was a very honest woodcutter. Once he was cutting a tree on the bank of a river. By chance, his axe fell into tha water. He began to cry and pray to the river god. The river god appeared there and asked him the reason. The poor woodcutter told him the whole story. The god dived into the river and brought an axe of gold. The woodcutter refused to take it. Then the god brought a silver axe. The woodcutter refused to take it either.
Then the god brought an lron axe. He accepted it happily. The god was pleased with his honesty and gave him all the three axes as a reward
